1st Compton and 84th Reading Cubs enjoyed a weekend in the sun at the Compton HQ. This camp was arranged to give Cubs who had not been on a cap with us before the chance to give it a try. Tents went up in the rain on Friday evening, the nights were chilly but the sun was out for most of the time. We did some rifle shooting, practiced pioneering, did a short hike, made Nan bread, chocolate bananas and had a great time.
