So what happens next ?
In the next few hours will get an email titled “Joined Waiting List”
It will come from Online Scout Manager, who provide the tools to allow us to manage all the young people on our lists.
Please click on the link and complete the confirmation of details and it also allows you to set a “prefered Group”, and and other details we need to speed up the journey of your child in Scouting. Everything is secure and protected for GDPR and not used for anyother activity than Scouting.
Once you have been in to Online Scout Manager and added some details, you will be asked to “Validate” the account and make sure it contains the details you added.
OSM allows us to keep you updated of progress and events linked to your child. It also allows you tell us when your email changes, you telephone number changes or you move house.
Even if you leave Wokingham we can transfer your childs record to a new District, County to help them.
As soon as we have a space, either in your prefered Group or in 101st Wokingham blended Scout Group you will get an email from us, so keeping this information upto date is key.
